What to Expect with Kids
When you arrive you will be welcomed by someone on our hospitality team. The safety of your child is important to us. After sharing some information about your child (name, birthday, allergy info, and your cell phone number in case you are needed for your child while you are in service), your child will get a name tag with a matching security label for you to use when picking up your child. You will be invited to walk your child to class to meet the lead teacher. This is where you will pick up your child following the service.
Nursery (9:30 AM - 12:15PM) offers care for infants up to two years old (up to their 3rd birthday) during most official church events as well as on Sunday mornings. Each child in our nursery receives special attention and care from loving adults and youth helpers. We provide a stimulating environment that is appropriate for the developmental stage of each child. There are two separate areas for Infants and Toddlers to make sure that each child’s stage is recognized. Pagers are also provided, so we may reach parents easily whenever needed.
Sunday School (9:45 AM) offers a traditional small group setting with low teacher to child ratios. Sunday School offers Bible stories, hands-on crafts, activities, and small group discussion. Four age appropriate classrooms (Preschool, K/1st, 2nd/3rd and 4th/5th) allow teachers to cater to the development needs of each age group.
Tru Kids Program (11:00 AM) offers a contemporary large group / small group model. Kids explore scripture chronologically, learning how God works through His grand redemptive narrative. Large group includes high energy worship music, games and storytelling. Kids then go deeper in small group with added discussion, hands on create projects & activities designed to reinforce the truths about who God is.
